The Star Lake Woods Association (SLWA) is a year round not-for-profit organization established in the area known as Star Lake Woods. SLWA membership is extended to all cottage owners and their families whose cottages are located on Star Lake Woods Road, Morningside Drive and Hill Top Lane, in the Township of Seguin, in the District of Parry Sound.

The purpose of the SLWA is:

• to protect the environment in and around Star Lake, including the water quality

• to encourage safety in the forms of fire protection, water and boating safety, traffic and firearms

• to scrutinize proposed further development on Star Lake

• to maintain and improve the roadways in the area of Star Lake Woods Road, including Morningside Drive and Hill Top Lane

• to encourage and foster a spirit of community on Star Lake and the surrounding area

• to support local businesses
